Now in its second year, the newly expanded Russian, Eastern, Asian & Oriental Fine Art Fair will feature 50 leading international galleries, showcasing 1000 years of art from across the Eastern world.  In the hotel foyer will be a mosaic life sized baby Asian elephant made by the artists Carrie Reichardt and Nick Reynolds. The sculpture is on loan from the London Elephant Parade and is one of the most significant pieces of contemporary 3D mosaics currently on show in the UK.

Elephant Parade is a conservation campaign that shines a multi-coloured spotlight on the urgent crisis faced by the endangered Asian elephant. Brought to you by www.elephantfamily.org, the event will see over 250 brightly painted life-size elephants located over central London this summer 2010.

Each decorated by a different artist or celebrity, the elephants will brighten and beautify the city, enhancing every park, street corner and building they grace. Running from May to July 2010, this will be London’s biggest outdoor art event on record. With an estimated audience of 25 million, the campaign is aiming to raise £2 million for the Asian elephapoolannt and benefit 20 UK conservation charities.  Visit Elephant Parade's Website
